What does "being watched" actually consist of?

I cant stand hearing a bunch of bullshit rumors flying around that the cops are watching XXXX or that you better be careful because they are watching you. 90% of the time its just paranoia or gossip, but obviously it does happen. I just want to know what the what it actually means when the cops "watch" you? I hope to god that there isnt an unmarked car outside my house 24-7 because I recieved 20 Sustanon from overseas when there are terrorists out there. There are alot of better things they can put their resources toward. I remember Dan Duchaine saying that you could request your FBI file and would recieve it in the mail unless you were under investigation. Does anyone know how to go about doing this? That would be great if it were online. I've heard of cops putting heat on suspects such as driving by their house or work several times to see if they panic and try to get rid of evidence before. I'm sure they are more proactive than sitting out front in a pizza van waiting for someone to do something. Oh yeah, how do you know if you are "being watched."

Thanks, bros.

Being "watched" can mean many things, including what you see in the movies. Physical surveillance is generally reserved for individuals they believe are substantial "dealers" of AAS, although mistakes (about the size of the operation) do happen. There have been instances where seemingly sophisticated operations were brought down because the agents involved did some good old physical surveillance. When they can't find the missing piece as to how a "source" is running his business, sometimes they need but follow him and see if there is a pattern to his daily activities. This can give them a lead and be helpful to the investigation. That doesn't mean that there are agents following every guy they suspect might be using AAS.

After I was busted I'm pretty sure I was followed for about a month afterwards. I figure they thought I was a big time dealer since the package they had contained 1000 tablets. The paperwork my lawyer got about the case even said I was still under investigation. I'd be driving to a movie or to go meet my girlfriend after she got off work and I'd notice a car had been following me a little too long. Once after noticing this once I switched lanes quickly just before an intersection and took a turn and to my surprise the person behind me did the same, another time I took a route no one else normally would and to my surprise the person behind me followed then I stopped at a gas station and the person behind me stopped at the same gas station. I got out and started filling up my gas (on one of those pay at the pump kinds) and stared at the person following me so she went inside the convenience store as if she stopped to get a snack or something. After a few weeks if they were still following me it was more sophisticated, with more cars and a little further back. If I would quickly turn the car behind me would go straight and soon afterwards another car would start following me. Of course this happens often when not being followed so it's hard to say. A few days after being arrested I went to my car to find an air conditioning van parked outside the apartment complex in the fire lane (the same place the cops had previously used during the raid) at about 9pm when it would be extremely unlikely they would be working on air conditioning that late (when I got back from going out I was going to knock on the van to say hi but it wasn't there anymore). Even after they let me out of jail the day after the arrest I went downstairs to find the lady in charge of the raid was talking to the receptionist there, probably trying to see who picked me up. So either I was paranoid and seeing things that weren't there, or they were misguidedly wasting their time and money in attempt to make a big bust and/or build on their almost non-existant case (all they had was me accepting a package.)

Everyone needs to watch their back when it comes to ordering AAS through the mail. Since the Feds can't win the War on Drugs, the next best thing for them is to try to win the War against the U.S. Constitution, which consists of creating the Patriot Act and bogus drug laws in order to destroy Americans' civil liberties and constitutional rights. If AAS was legal, and Uncle Sam could get a cut of the action like they do with cigarette and alcohol taxes, then all of this nonsense would not occur. Remember when politicians were doing everything they could to destory illegal gambling, but when they saw they could make BILLIONS through state lotteries, Las Vegas and Atlantic City----they SUDDENLY changed their minds and EMBRACED GAMBLING?

Like a wise man once said----it's all about the Benjamins.

Being parranoid keeps you safe, so if you think you are being watched I would probably worry. I never keep ANYTHING at my home anymore. Especially after reading Legal Muscle.

Damn, I was watched for about 4 months 24x7. Had my own team of NYPD detective assigned to my case. I did feel unnerved a few times because I kept seeing the same people but I never really put it together.

Then again, my case wasn’t gear related…

What I am saying is that if they are watching you don’t expect big clues. If you are paranoid you’ll see them even if they aren’t there.

That reminds me, after my bust I quit my job and stayed in my apartment most the time for awhile but every now and then when I'd leave or when taking out the trash or something I'd notice strange people walking by and sometimes I'd watch them and they didn't go into a room or anything just walked by and took the stairs down. Now I live on the top floor inside an apartment complex that you have to be buzzed in to so strange people shouldn't be just strolling by as I'm coming to or leaving my apartment which was a little unnerving as well. They didn't take my computer so I was a little apprehensive about using my computer but after running a few programs designed to catch spyware and coming up with nothing I felt a little better. If they were folloeing my online activities it would be on the server side and they could really kiss my ass over what I discuss on here or how often I look at porn.

Also, something strange that you guys might find interesting. Just a few weeks ago me and my girlfriend went out for a late night snack at Perkins. When we got there a couple of uniformed cops were there eating as well. As we left they left at the same time and to my surprise one of them was the head of the narcotics task force that raided my house! Why the head of the narcotics task force was uniformed and snacking at the same place as me late at night 4 or 5 months from when I was busted one early afternoon was something I couldn't quite understand but maybe she does late night patrol shifts as well and was on a break. Then she was downstairs talking to the receptionist as I got out of county too as I said in my other post. Coincidence or harrassment?

There are some types of SpyWare that LE agencies use that cannot be detected as easily.

When you arrived at the eatery, how far were the uniformed cops into eating their meals? I do not think they read your mind and then decided to meet you when you arrived. I would say coincidence.

You were probably paranoid, just like 99% of the citizens who have had recent run-ins with law enforcement personel.

In the case of Spyware being used ny LE, yes, in fact there are many forms of intrusive applications out there ranging from the standard spyware application that infects your PC, to JavaScript code that sets cookies and monitor your traffic. Even in the cases where intrusive programs are not listed as spyware, most high end anti-malware software will include a heuristic scan which basically consists of adding any code, application or oter to the list of results found during a scan based on the type and behavior of the program. This, along with regular clearing of the entire internet cache, ad secure wiping of the hard drive should be more than sufficient in keeping your own personal machine safe. What you may be exposed to while actually on the web, however, is another matter. Due to the change in laws stemming from the patriot act, and other subsequent peices of legislation that have pased since then, LE, or another government agency now has legal authority to monitor email and telephone communications without warrant or probable cause, i the case where suspected terrorist acitivty may be involve. Notice the wording there, They do not have to have a reason for suspicion, nor do they even have to believe that there is such behavior, they only have to say there might be and you, me, and everyone else are fair game. This is what is generally considered to be "watching you." They will initially monitor your communications and then may proceed to physically monitor one's activity.
