what can i do for energy?

It seems lately that by the time I get out of work and head to the gym I am almost too tired to do anything. I dont go to bed late, and I think I am eating correctly, is there anything else I can do to get my energy levels way up before I go to the gym?
 
listen to better music on the way to the gym

for me: tupac, nas, rage against the machine

gets the adreniline starting to flow a lil
 
I take 10 grams ( 4 rounded teaspoons ) of whole raw Maca root powder first thing in the morning as soon as I wake up and another 10 grams about 15 mins. to a half hour before I workout which is after work (about 10 hours later). I mix it with about 6 - 8 ozs of water and down it. It energizes me. Its hard to explain. cuz it doesn`t feel like a stimulant yet it definetly uplifts almost as if it neutralizes any fatigue I am feeling and I get this feeling of being recharged. I swear by the stuff.

if i dont get a quality meal down 90mins-one hour before i hit the gym i always feel myself tapering off. maybe just get in a couple of sandies on wholemeal bread before you leave work.

filled with meaty goodness of course!
 
caffeine is priority pre workout for me...ephedra if you can get your hands on some

If you do decide to take ephedra, just make sure you don't take it too late...It will keep you up most of the night!
