What are your flossing habits?

Some parts of town came back already, some will take years, some may never come back. I believe the last census had us at approx 55% of our Pre-Katrina population.

I live in an 2nd floor apt a few blocks away from the first levee breach on the "lucky" side. The first floor of my complex was vacant from flooding for about 16 months after the storm.

Wow..I didn't know you were one of the peeps cought up in that. I know rnch and a few others felt the affect though. How long before it got cleared out? Were you there when it hit?

No, I got the fuck out of town and spent about 3 weeks in Searcy, AR.

Upon my return, my job took me to some of the most devasted areas including all of the breach sites in the city. I'll never forget my visit to Buras, LA close to where the "eye" came in.
