What are your ab routines? People with 6 packs

Everyone has a 6 pack....8 actually. EVERYONE. The difference is the amount of fat on TOP of it. That's about diet.

If you want to see your 6 pack, cut.

try situps.. the cornerstone of any abdominal exercise.

you'd be surprised at how many people dont train their abs correctly. even more amazing it seeing people doing like 100 sit ups straight.

that shit makes me laugh cause when i do them, i do 10-20 reps and believe me my abs burn so much that people around me think i got shot in the stomach.

Sorry to be the interloper in your "6-pack only" club ;)... but I think the 3 minute abs routine is badass. Try it. You'll like it.

2-3 times a week.

Bicycle crunches, decline crunches, twisting decline crunches, weighted situps, legraises.

There are two things that affect how your abs look.

1) Muscle size

2) Bodyfat

The latter is arguably more important for making them visible. Once you can actually see than, 1) comes more into play.

But, given those two things, why do so many reps with such a variety of bodyweight exercises? You can't spot reduce fat. And doing those won't build muscle. Would you do 100 reps with a 10 pound dummbell to build your bicep? Hell no.

If you think your abs need to be bigger, do a weighted exercise such as ab curl or low pulley cable crunch. If you think they need to be more visible, lose fat. I don't understand why people want to separate the rectus abdominus from all other muscles in how they train them.

yea i know bodyfat helps hide your abs..... and that everyone has a 6 pack but what I obviously mean is a visible 6 pack which means a combination of low bodyfat and ab training...

What are bycycle crunches? 10-15 reps, 3 sets? About 3 exercises/day--2x-3x/week, different 3 every other week?
