well, since i don't really know anything about pisces thus uninfluenced by it, i thought it was a great opportunity to see if there was enough correlation b/t my personality to result in the right sign. i didn't actually going to get pisces, so i was i was suprised when i did based on that quiz.

plus its for fun, stop being a debbie downer!

this reminds me of the keirsey sorter thread you had before. I had ISFP and then I took it again and I had INFJ? I never get the same result? I never could, I think it's all a bunch of shit

Just read about all the zodiac types including a more in depth analysis of mine. There's def quite a bit i would agree with regarding Pisces and how i view my personality, but at the same time, it could explain any other person because it is so broad in terms of the descriptions. As i was reading about the other type, could easily come up example or manipulate excuse that would correlate the characteristics of that sign. I could be any of em if i wanted to. to be honest Pisces was surprisingly far more accurate about a lot of things, more so than any of the other signs. Wouldn't be surprised if myer briggs and other personality indicators/test used/drew inspirational from astrology. Unlike this though, myer briggs is based of you characteristics now and measures that. zodiac stuff is predetermined personality based on ur b-day. So i'm ruling it as chance/luck that my sign is actually happened to be the best description of me out of all of them. i can think of other pisces that are def not the same temperament as me. I don't really know much about it and would be interesting to read more in depth about symbolic connections between em all. something to in my free time....that if something else doesn't capture my interest and i forget to.lol

I would compare this to the god/jesus thread and the arguments cindy. you can ask the same question when it comes to your personality, if u believe such a thing exists. And just like religion, i had alot of questions about it. I think they are both fascinating concepts, thus my intestest in myer briggs and this kind of stuff. just as god is beyond us, so is the determine/categorizing the human psyche but we still try to find connections to lead us to them.

I love taking personality tests because i like looking for connections, its exciting when some i find em, so i'm up for considering pretty much anything and hesistant to close the door to even the seemly most absurd of things.lol

I understand. I also think its interesting but at the same time I don't like being labeled. Its helpful to know ourselves so we can work on our weaknesses. Its interesting how we are attracted to those people opposite of us, like we are trying to complete ourselves. (imo it does not work lol) I understand why it interests you. Myers brigs, keirsy, whatever....maybe I'll take one today :) What I really want to do is lay in bed all day

I bristle at the idea of being labeled, as a twin everyone labels you, "oh you are the responsible one, and your sister is the xxx one" I don't like being told who I am by someone else (who has not had the opportunity to get to know me) Maybe I screw up those things on purpose. I had a lady tell me that she could size someone up by the way they dress...I will not be defined by the way I dress thx. It usually ends in a "you don't know me" type thing...I get that way with those test results lol! I'm like, oh yeah? I'm not an introvert, I'll go out tonight..I might prefer sitting at home and reading a book, but I always force myself to go to the party...so what's that make me? You dont know me! lol

They don't. I'm married to a cancer, he is nothing like me. I also have a twin sister born just one minute before me (so she's obv a cancer) and she is opposite of me, personality wise.

It kinda sucks when you're the "golden child" and held to a higher standard. Especially when that standard is unachievable by any reasonable expectation....a standard we created for ourselves in our own minds based on our own perceived expectations from those close to us we seek approval from. :)
