what are you fascinated about

I'm also fascinated by pigmen. Because if you have some of these pigmen running around, suddenly I don't look so bad. People will say, "at least he's no pigman".

:lmao:

and nature boy - you mean like in rocketeer or like in the fall guy with lee majors?
lee majors rules

also I am fascinated with down sydrome people

not in a bad way.....its just I feel like they are strong dispite obviuos disadvatages.

alot of them live life to its fullest

have you ever seen a frowning down sydrome person?

no....... they are always smiling, I wonder what they are thinking?

maybe they are fascinated with us, and how we go about our daily activities, chasing money, women, success, and fortune

I wonder if they wonder why we frown so much? we are successful right?

most down syndrome people have only a fraction of what we "have"

yet.........who's smiling?:)

Unfortunately, I can't take credit for that quote, but it's still funny.

was it from Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy? it totally sounded like it.

HS, Lee Majors does rule. And so do Lee Majors endorsed jet packs.

I'm fascinated with neurology, physiology, ferrets, and things that spin/make noise.

I have to agree with the ferretts,

I mean come on! how can you NOT like those little buggers?

and why are they illegal to have?

2 things about downs sydrome people.

Notice they all look very similar? What's up with that.

And what is the possibility that in reality they are soooooooo much smarter than we are but since we're not that smart we can't really comprehend how smart they are so we think they're mentally challenged.

I like apple juice.

No it was from the Seinfeld Episode with the Pigman. It was the same one with Shaky the Moil (sp?) and when the mental patient committed suicide and landed on George's car.

ok I remember now.

Psychology (particularly the fields of evolutionary psychology and sexual psychology) and...

anything related to the creation and origin of human beings and our universe and any scientific explanations of why we are, and why we do what we do...

i.e. creationism vs. evolutionism

...that shit fascinates me.

my two theories with downs syndrome people looking happy all the time are:
1) not fully comprehending what is going on, therefore not grasping the dull or unpleasant reality of it all

2) my dad's dog looks sad all the time, but he is asleep and I roll him over - he looks vicious b/c all his floppy skin falls away from his teeth, then if he wakes up and rolls over and looks at me - sad again. a guy I went to college with looked pissed off all the time - not because he was, that was just how he looked.
as humans we are conditioned to see certain facial expressions or movements as denoting signs of emotional response - but it is also possible that they are simply epiphenomena in the scenerio and are a result of how the genes shape the face and/or muscles.

I have a fascination with things related to fantasy (magic, swords, monsters, etc See: Final Fantasy and other RPGs, Wheel of Time) I wish I could do magic, that would rock

Book Binding
Dovetail Joints
Sushi Chefs

............... but that's just at this very moment.

Eggs sizzling on a griddle have been known to fascinate me as well. :eyes:

In California and Hawaii, ferrets are considered wild animals and it's not legal to oen them as pets. They aren't wild though, they're domesticated (at least the variety that we keep as pets). Thus, I wouldn't live in those states because my ferrets are my kids.

i am fascinated by the universe... how it was created, evolution, the idea of there being endless galaxies in a neverending universe fascinates me. Life after death, death itself. Chemistry also fascinates me. love fascinates me. hmmm, thats pretty much it i guess :)

...the concept of destiny vs. the unlimited "free choices" we have

Yes, all 4 of mine are descented....though their heads always smell a smidge skunky. They really smell awful, even if they're descented, if they're bathed more than 1-2 times a year. That dries out their skin and they produce a lot of oil-- and that's what smells so distinctive. Seriously, how much someone's house smells like their pets is almost completely related to how much cleaning the owner does. If I don't clean the litter boxes every day, my house smells ferrety.
