What are you doing now that you weren't doing when you started lifting and that you think is highly beneficial ?
 
squating(the right way), chins,deads,calves,abs(was told that you didnt have to do isolation ab work due to the stress put on your abs while working out), concentrating on mind-muscle connection and full ROM. THe biggest thing that has changed my overall body composition would be NUTRITION.
 
- Compounds with "proper" form for one!! Was like breaking a bad habit re-training myself to Dead, Squat & Bench properly from what I was shown back in High School.

- Diet is another one. Eating more often (6-7 times a day rather than 3 times) and eating more. Also drinking water!! Was tougher than snot at first drinking water all the time and took over a year to get to the point where I'm drinking at least a gallon & 1/2 a day...now I miss it and feel thirsty if I'm not drinking it all the time.

- Getting my core in shape was also super benificial to all my lifitng...and my back

More legs and back

and rather coupound movements than isolated ones

and now i pay attention to form, when i started i just tried to lift as much as possible, any way possible

at this point, i feel like i learn something new about my body and training and diet every day
