What are you doing for Easter?

Me-nothing. And I already ate meat today, Good Friday. Oh well, at least I stuck with giving up pot, which I haven't smoked in months anways. I honestly don't miss it, but for a special occasion I could see myself blazin one again someday.

thursday night: played pool with a mate in a club/pub, somehow met a bunch of funny drunk people, decided i was on the wrong side of the drunk/sober line and became another funny drunk person (who looked really good ), flexed my pick up muscles for a little while, home at 5:30

friday night: family barbecue, was going to go out again but waaaaay too tired from the night before. home at 12

saturday night (tonight): im going out. ooooo am i going out im seeing about a hotel room, lets see how that goes

Tomorrow night,I plan on going to a local church and watching, "Passion of the Christ" Sunday I will go to church for the first time in a long time. I have taken the blinders off, or rather he has. It's a constant struggle.

Family dinner with my dad's side of the family tonight... we usually have a dinner with my mom's side of the family too, at my grandparents place, but they're on vacation. LOL. Going out for dinner with my family tomorrow, but that's not really for Easter. The Easter bunny comes tomorrow night

Why do I believe in God against all hope? This is why:

I gave my daughter the name Hope because I was agnostic and I hoped that through my child, God would reveal himself to me.
The word says you must look for God like you are seeking for a lost treasure, in order to find him. You must seek with all your heart. When my daughter was afflicted at the age of 3 with a hemmorhage and near death, I sunk into a deep depression and was afflicted myself with an anxiety disorder. That is when I began to really seek for God. I humbled myself and began asking people why they believed in God. I heard some incredible stories that left me thinking, either there is a God or these people are deluded, lying, or crazy.

I was seeking so hard. I had nothing left. Then it happened. I was lying on my couch at home on August 24th, 1996, when a thought popped into my head. "Get up and go visit your granny's burial place." She was very good to me and I had always wanted to go back to visit her at her burial site but never got around to it until this day nearly 12 years later.
