What are you avoiding? What should you be doing that you're not doing?

working out, i'm smoking like a chimney, and quitting for next week.
Brain is so atrophied too, but reading a good book now...
How's Canada's favorite asian?

I should be running about now but my ribs are aching from scapular pull-ups I did yesterday and I've just eaten breakfast (6am here) so it'll have to wait for a couple of hours.

I should be cleaning up my diet of junk carbs to make a certain weight but I just can't be fucked atm, hence running 40-50 miles / week to make up for my lack of nutritional discipline.

Posting and generally being a presence here.

paperwork, learning some accounting program that will let me stop doing everything on paper, ie Quickbooks or hopefully something easier...

Generally speaking I should be relaxing more and enjoying life without my overactive brain on a constant and hypervigilant watch over my life.
I'm one of THOSE people who are more 'comfortable' when everything is in order, predictably scheduled, and everything neatly tied up in a bow.
But the truth of it is that I avoid taking risks in life when I should be getting out there and chancing it. What have I got to lose?
There, I said it :)

well, for some of "us", boring is good, mundane is calming, being a "non-risktaker" keeps us out of trouble mentally and physically. Really, you have a lot to lose. Most people, this makes no sense, but for the rest of us, it makes perfect sense. T, have you ever seen the words "easy does it" anywhere? It doesn't mean, for one week, or 360 days, it's forever....

I hear what you are saying, and I'll keep that in mind. I'm kinda more talking about doing things which would be good for me, like good challenges, and healthy growing experiences.
:)
