WHAT are you and WHY?

i'm a powerlifter because the thought of being strong and gettin strong just fuckin motivates me to hit the gym...even solo!!! i also like doing shit that no one else can do and only a select few can. tb

i'm also like beast..want to be big and strong as fuck!! my physique is the combination of bodybuilding/powerlifting..i could go either way, but powerlifting is an addicting sport!!! tb

Thats true. Until recently I was into HEAVY bodybuilding. Real heavy weights,but BB style none the less. Now 50% of my training is PL style. My benching still isnt using the PL form, but I apply alot of the techniques. And one rep maxing has become a major addiction to me. Power racks are something I just recently started using. Im definately addicted, especially after finding Elite.
 
I'm a funtional athlete, which to me means having a body that is in the proportion that I am fast and agile and can actually be good at what I like, which for me is play tennis. Lifting weights just helps in that I've done it all my life and it keeps me strong and fit and injury free for the most part and still at the absolute top of my game at 40. When you get up to this age in a competitive sport and are still playing tournaments and going up against guys half your age, I think weightlifting is one of the things that makes all the difference in beating out everyone else. Plus, it makes me look good which never hurts. I think being a fat slob would have to be overrated.
 
im very athletic, but that is just a plus for me...i started lifting with the intention of improving my body...thank god i wasnt going for strength! in my opinion, i look to be much much stronger than i actually am...im only 20, so maybe i just need to grow up a little

I threw shot in highschool. It definitely requires some explosion, that's for sure.
