What are good ways of lowering Cortisol?

galaxy said:
Vitamin C pre and post workout
DHEA 100mgs am and pm

And I think of heard of cytadren for this use, but not sure.

how much vit C should one take pre/post to help w/ cortisol issues?

How much phosphitylserine should be taken to reduce cortisol, and for how long after a low dose anavar cycle.

Especially after a cycle. Basically off time.

Cortisol is a product of stress. Lower stress will lower cortisol
The cushing's syndrome issue is correct also.

Based on your avatar , you don't seem to have the symptoms such as:
Increase in abdomen size
Rounded face
Increased fat on upper back
Thinning and weakness of the muscles of the upper arms and upper legs
Thinning of the skin

I would consider suching not applicable to you. Also I wouldn't consider AAS a treatment for adrenal disfuntion. Go see an endocronologist.

In general Try
1. Muscle Link's cort-bloc
2. beta-sitosterol
3. methoxy isoflavone (i've read does block cortisol)

Any why C? What does it do? And what exactly is phosphitylserine?

Vitamin C is an anti-oxidant and it helps neutralize free radicals in the body.

This is basic knowledge, bro; something you should already know before you touch AAS.

My cortisol levels were about 25% above the normal range after my last bloodwork. (Had been naturaly for a long long time).

I am leaning towards overtraining being the culprit, but its hard to say exactly.

I'm just saying because after being on a long cycle, I'm sure cortisol is going to go through the roof when I'm done. I don't want that! I don't want to lose all the gains I made. So what is the best option here? So many and I don't know which is right. And I don't want to keep using gear again. I do need the time off.

I don't understand all this stuff about overtraining, and cycles.
This link explain the purpose of cortisol.

http://stress.about.com/cs/cortisol/a/aa012901.htm

Basically when under stress your adrenal glands releases cortisol , which in tern conumes tissues and convertes those tissues to fats and carbohydrates so your brain will have fuel to function under stress You body is smart enough to know you are having a hard time so I creates a larger "reserve" if you will in times of need. As far as my understanding goes , this has nothing to do with overtraining or your steroid cycles.

when i said to reduce volume i meant reduce the # of sets, reps and frequency of workouts but keep the intensity high during pct

just not sure if i got that across

good luck bro!
