What an awful fucking week, I'm so pissed...

She was in the yard when she was stolen. The only way in/out is by the door. A lot of things are coming into my thoughts. My cocker was "lost" on July 4th, but now I'm thinking it was stolen. I had no idea but the house across the street started construction on it on that day. They are still doing construction and they saw that we had a pup. I feel they might've had something to do with it. Another thought is the company that sold it. Maybe they had someone creep it as they had our address.

Will they ever come up with a GPS for the dogs/cats? This would be a phenomenol idea, albeit, expensive. I have NO problem dropping an additional $500 for the peace of mind that she won't get lost/stolen.

Yes, I cried and cried again this morning in the airplane.
that is terrible...I am sorry for your loss yes you can get attached after a short period of time they are alot like infants..........
your pup didnt have the micro chip in its ear? most places do that now because people are stealing dogs like crazy....
again so sorry

To my knowledge, it was injected in her upper-neck. My mom contacted a vet and she was told that they don't scan dogs for regular check-ups, only for when someone comes in and says the dog was lost. My mom will call the local vets tomorrow to report the problem.

i had a brand new boxer pup who was about 8 weeks old and as soon as i took him in for his first check up they automatically scanned him....i guess it must depend on the vet...i think if u tell all the surrounding vets they should keep an eye out for the pup if any one brings one in they will scan for the chip #....just a suggestion you guys might want to give it a try

Yes, I told my mom about this yesterday. She will jump on the Yellow Pages and call the vets. I hope she shows up.
