here is a thread to come and bitch about how shitty your day went.

Ill start.

I had to pick this kid up from a home visit on my way into work,right off the kid is being a fucking idiot demanding to see a doctor over a sore throat,I take her then she is told its a cold,the kid flips out and wants a second opinion or she isnt going back to the group home, so after consulting my supervisor we take her to a walk in clinic and she doesnt want to wait, I tell her fine we are going back to the group home,she flips out,trys to run away(the kid is a huge flight risk btw) so I end up restraining her in the middle of a plazza parking lot,then the little bitch bites a chunk out of my arm and begins to scream that im raping her,which was fun to explain to bystanders,I finally get that sorted by encouraging them to call the police as I clearly have nothing to hide,they do,and I get them to call my work so back up so to speak can be sent.,all the while Im bleedin out waiting for them to come help.

finally we got her back to the group home after I held her face down on the pavement for 30 mins,but Im really worried that the kid has some damned disease because shes a whore. the doc said I dont have much to worry about but that slim chance makes me hate her so much I cant even go back to work there anymore, thankfully I gave notice and start my two new jobs next week,but I cant even finish out these last few shifts because Im scared Ill hurt this kid,I totally lost my shit here today.

ya it sucks but I was quitting anyway so I dont feel to bad about refusing to go in for the last few shifts.

I do have a full time position at a much better group home lined up closer to where I now live since I moved in with my girlfriend,and I have a relief position at a adult male halfway house to give me play money and help pay off some debt quicker, definately looking to do these long term as I love this line of work.

I know youre pissed and you should be, but this "kid" is obiously not mentally all there. She is troubled and needs more help than she is recieving. I feel bad for her actually.

I feel bad for your injury as well, but that will heal and in time you'll forget about this "job" and everything else it comes with, but her life will only get worse because she is in fact troubled.

feel bad for her all you want bro,she is in this group home because she is a criminal,runs away from home and becomes a hooker,there are alot of bleeding hearts in this field and thats why these kids fall victim to the system as nobody wants to punish them for what they did ,they do a couple overnights but no serious time as a wake up call so they keep doing what they are because they get away with it, now had she been one of the kids on meds for behaviour different story,but she isnt,she is just a ignorant little bitch who needs to get beat down.

I went to a walk in clinic last night btw,now im on oral and topical antibiotics,doc says the likely hood of catching anything but an oral infection is slim so I feel alot better about it,we didnt have wsib at that place and had to sign forms when we started stating we understand its a dangerous job etc so I wouldnt have got anything to begin with, thankfully my girlfriend is in a position where I can get pain pills is needed in a legal manner but at cost

ya ive had my hep vaccine so I was told to go in 6 weeks to see if my hep reactor shot up but hiv isnt likely the doc said as she wasnt bleeding,Ill get it checked out anyway in 6 weeks,I know I was clean before hand as I got tested a month ago when I got cut at work by a different kid.

ya it takes 6 weeks to show up anyhow and the doc said if im really worried go in 6 weeks then go again in 6 months,which I plan to do but it isnt like im sweating until then.

gonelifting,I feel sorry they dont have a normal functioning home life too bro,it does suck,so ya I agree with you there,just cant justify their actions thats all. I ended up not going back,only had 4 shifts left anyways and am starting a new job,but fear of her didnt keep me home today,I honestly felt my hate towards her would negatively impact the rest of the house and that isnt fair to anyone else there.

im really excited about my new positions,my full time is at a boy group home and they havent had a restraint in 3 years,I love the sound of that already,and my part time is at a federal half way house for adult offenders who if they screw up it breaches the terms of their parole and away they go.

It is definately a rewarding thing to do. I started my own after school program for troubled teen girls.
