Wetsuits (fullsuit)

I can answer better around January,Ill go for a swim in Michigan. I jumped in with just shorts last year was 41 degrees (barn peer pressure) and its breathtaking and painfull oh it may have been cold' hard to tell with the pain shooting from my nuts all the way to my throat .Worst part is I have a damn dry suit.any way i will try in my 7 mil for sake of argument.

For kayaking a 7 mil full body or farmer john would be fine all day long for water around 70 degrees F, I have been in low 60's for over a hour with a seven mil and was fine other than my hands and feet (4 mil gloves and boots) To thick for surfing though.Aslo if you arnt wet it will be hot as hell.

I'm sure you're a good bro but you might wanna consider shortning your username.

here we go again.....I asked a mod before and she said that Admin had to do it and they wouldnt shorten it unless I went platinum or i needed to re-register.So I have been living with it until I decide if I want to or not

I would suggest investing in a good dry suit if you are going to be on the water during the winter. A wet suit is just that, a wet suit, it lets water in between your suit and body. Dry suits seal the water out, keeping you dry. You can wear warm clothes on the inside layer. A dry suit is also quite a bit more expensive than a wet suit, but in cold weather it will be worth the investment.

I don't know much about wetsuits Velvett but I have an idea that will cost a lot less. All you need is crisco and saran wrap.
I think someone has been watching me...
:worried:

I can't wait to learn to surf. I'm fixing to move to some of the best surfing/kayaking beaches in California and I can't wait. :dolphin:

OMG So much fun (especially if you don't mind making an ass out of yourself)!

Kayaking just rocks - I'm gonna take pics the next time out, I wish I had a camera with me this weekend - SICK SICK time.
