See, this is why I go into a restaurant with a pre-printed order. I know what I want, and HOW I want it. I just hand them the paper and don't say a word. It's all on there. They fuck it up, I say "Talk to the paper!".

I also make the waitress take the first bite. Fuck that, I'm not taking chances with people spitting in my food.

They used to make a damned fine Presidente Margarita.... but the last time I went there (for the bar) it wasn't the same.

Texas Land & Cattle Co is pretty good for a chain, but we found that they are not all the same.

Besides, we just sit at the bar anyways...

I am trying to remember the last time we went out to eat and it was REALLY good. Maybe I am jaded because I haven't had much of an appetite for a long time.

Oh wait... there is this bar/restaurant that we go to often. XCELLENT service and they make THE BEST sweet potatoe fries!!!! It's called The Tap Inn in downtown Grapevine.

Chillis/Bennigans/Whathaveyou chains all pretty much = the suck.

you ever eat at a restaurant called Cellebration, family style served food, we used to eat there years ago, food was awsome. I don't remember where it was, I lived over by the Galleria so it must have been somewhere in N Dallas...

I have a couple of questions for you...

Do you get offended if someone sends back food? I did that once with a 'medium rare' steak and the guy I was with started laughing and telling me I'm gonna eat spit for the rest of the night. The steak was cut right off the cow and still throbbing wtf? It was barely cooked. I sent it back and said "just make it well done".

And #2, Fuck! I forgot the 2nd question. Maybe later.

lol ya I get pissed when food gets sent back..even more pissed when its biz...but I know that its my fault when it gets sent back and I comp there meal and do it right....
I mean you do get a customer every once in a wile that just overly annal about things but I can tell the type and I will just tell the wait staff to give them just as hard of a time that they are giving you.lol

we are talking apples and oranges here though.any dumb ass should be able to tell raw from medium rare.and sending the food out cold and raw 2 times in a row there no excuse.
