tried a dl pr last night.....475
couldnt finish it
i just couldn't straighten out
were do you fail on dl?
i'm wondering if there's a weakness or if i just have to keep progressing
 
so you got the weight over your knees, right..just couldnt bring the shoulders back and lock it out?

personally im weak off the floor..

there are a few things you can do
i think what would help you the most is to use a power rack and set the pins a few inches below where you fail and overload that range of the lift..alternate between full pulls and those rack pulls each week along with heavy back work/hams/low back
 
the key with the rack is obviously you can use more weight than in the full dead..you may find you can do lockouts in the rack with 600..

well what you think is going to happen after awhile? when you got to lock out 475 its gonna be a lot easier..granted life isnt that simple but if you work at it it will come..good luck
