Weird happenings with my injection...

Last night I did a 3 cc shot with a 23 gauge in the glutes.

Anyway, this was my third shot, and the last two times I injected, I felt like I was pushing through tissue the whole length of the needle.

This time, it felt like I went through a small layer of fat and skin and then NOTHING...and when aspirated it sucked a ton of air into the syringe, more than before, plus when I 'pulled out' all this air rushed out of the needle hole...?

It's not sore today, (deca/sust) and it was the easiest injection yet...did I just finally hit the right spot or what???

More than likely not. When doing the glute try to go directly in and not at an angle. Make sure the muscle is not tensed in any way and that you stretch the excess fat on our glute.

This may not help for the last one but possibly for future injects

Since the 'air' rushed out.... it sounds like you created a vacuum in the syringe. How hard did you pull when you aspirated?

Well yeah, I did create a vacuum by aspirating, but what I'm saying is that it felt as though I went through a layer of skin, then fat, then...nothing..no muscle, no tissue..it was the weirdest thing...oh well.
