I blame the popularity of phrenology amongst weightlifters that was so common in the 80s. It was said that with but a glance at someone's cranium, you could tell on any given day how much someone could lift. This resulted in many shaven heads to assist personal trainers in designing a workout just for that day.

No longer were lifters forced to guess at weight and rep schemes; any lifter in search of guidance need do no more than give head at the front desk.

As an aside, have you lost any hair since you started weight training?

true. it would be. however, this poll has given me the confidence that it won't happen.

moreovr, I'd like to believe my exquisit facial features would be enough to outweigh any small amount of hair I might lose :)
