Weighted Vests: Who uses one?

I have ankle weights for leg raises, but for weighted pull ups - I use an old climbing harness and some caribeeners to clamp to some weights - of course this is my home gym - so I can do as I please.

It is bs in a way though. If you're heavier than why not just train your body to be able to cope with the extra weight that you have to carry around. I can do more chin ups with a 40lb vest on than most 210lb+ in the guys in the gym easily...and my arms aren't particularly big either.

When i do pull ups in the gym i always get the bigger blokes looking at me as though i can only do them cos i'm lighter (some have even said lol)...it's funny to be able to tell them that i can do plenty with a vest on too.
