I was at the gym today and say two guys working out together one was wearing a pair of gardening gloves and his oriental friend was wearing WELDING!!!!! gloves
that went all the way up to his elbows. on top of that he
was wearing some kind of crazy kamakazi aviator glasses. :FRlol: Is this some kind of fashion trend i missed in the latest muscle and fitness????

I see shit like that at my gym all the time. I just make sure they see me and the girls i'm with laughing at them. I saw some guy that looked like he spent an hour puting together his outfit. And he was fixing his shit in the miror all the time. lol.....are you fucking kiding me.

I haven't spoken to him since last week. We went to the V-Bar at the Venetian a couple of Fridays ago. Send me your number and we'll give you a call next time we go.

His grandfather is in town to help him look for a condominium.

Before everyone laughs at the absurdity.

I have always used the leather gardening gloves over the 1/2 finger "lifting" ones.

Quite simply, they help me grip the bar better, dont give me callouses on my joints and they only cost 8.95 and last 6 months.

Plus after my workout, I can go home and strangle gophers without worrying about being bit.

i see it from time to time.

another classic one is the sponge pressers. they use sponges to pad their sensitive hands cause of the "extreme weight" they are pressing. whatever.

I workout in a predominately mexican area of LA.. I see gardening gloves all the time at my gym.. I think they come straight from work.

LOL @ the sponge pressers. I see that all the time. Or better yet the ones who wrap the bar about 6 inches around with a sweat towel when they are benching all of 185lbs. They bring it down and then let it bounce off their sternums. Entire range of movement = 5 iinches downward.

I do wear the brown gardening gloves myself. snipped off at the second knuckle. I like them better than lifting gloves because they are protect from callouses and are thin and I can still "feel" the bar. Also, the elastic band keeps it around my wrist for back day when I use straps. And they are three pair for $4.99 can't beat that.

I come in full welding attire...goggles included. Hey, my future's so bright I gotta wear shades.

Actually there is this one buy that wears those wrap-around sunglasses all the time in our indoor gym. I guess it's cool to him.
