Was just told I was fired?

My Mom didn't sue because another company had been wanting to lure her away. She called the other company and they gave her more money, a better company car, less travel. In the end, my mom told her boss she could fuck herself.

Common sense wrong versus the pain in the ass of going thru court. After legal fees, it's not worth it just to get even.

Plus, one of our neighbors has farm raised turkeys. So...we knew my mom's boss left her car doors unlocked during the day. So...someone stuck some wild turkeys inside the car...which by lunch time was full of turkey shit, turkey feathers, and a whole lot of claw marks in her leather seats.

I'm not one to sue, because I had every chance to sue my ex, but in this case, even if I had other opportunity, I would sue

My mom recently worked for a nice company that was really good to her. Her story is a bit similar. She was out on short term disability and kept in contact and even brought the physicians progress notes along with her physical therapy reports to the HR. Everything seemed fine. Not more than 3 weeks after being back to work my mother got "let go" for not meeting the monthly quota's that the employees had to make, though she had been out and someone else was taking over for her during that time. I think it was just a cop out as they were thinking of getting rid of her while she was out, but knew better.

this is EXACTLY what I think their game plan is.

I know there is one woman who works in head office who apparently has been on and off short term disability for 5 yrs and they never got rid of her.
