Vudu is the Chit

I got a 55" LG, 3D TV just before the Superbowl. The local NBC affiliate has a shitty broadcast and really pissed me off...

But, when I hooked it up to my wifi, I noticed it had an app for vudu - HD movies on demand offered the same day as DVD release; blows Netflix away.

So far I've watched Drive and Xmen in 1080p. The picture was ridiculously good.

I really didn't give a shit about the 3D but I researched online for a good 55" LED and the LG 55LW6500 was well reviewed by Cnet and had fantastic user reviews.

The 3D was just a bonus. Best Buy did have Cars 2 playing in 3D on the demo set when I went to buy. I have to admit it was pretty cool. And, LG uses the passive 3D technology so the glasses are cheaper and ligher.

You pay as you go but it streams a hell of a lot better than Netflix.
