I'd have to differ with you there, wars have been started and fought over the killing of a single human, don't recall the last time a nation went to war over a dead puppy. Point being the value of human life is far greater than that of an animal, which you may consider a loveable pet, others may consider vermin and in Korea is a local delicacy. 1. Bosintang (soup)

Dog Soup is called, Gaejang, Gajangkuk, or Gujang, Gujangaeng,
Guyoukgeng. It has been called Bosintang from the later part of 1940,but during
the period of the 1988 Olympic games, it was banned to use the name of
Bosintang, so its name was replaced by Youngyangtang, Sacheoltang,
Mungmungtang. But nowadays, the name of Bosintang is widely used instead
of Youngyangtang. Bosintang is made by boiling dog meat with thin soy paste,
tearing it into pieces, putting ingredients such as green onion, leek, stalk of taro,
brake into broth, and boiling it again to make Bosintang. In Kyungsang
province, to get rid of the smell, perilla purple are put in the soup. Perilla are
also used for ridding the smell. Taste of perilla is similar to that of dog, and
it becomes a good match to dog meat. Side dishes of dog meat are Kimchi,
fresh peppers, and cucumbers. Adding a glass of Soju(liquor) enhances the
taste.

The standard amount of ingredients for one portion.


(1) Ingredients

100g of boiled dog meat, 500g of gravy, 20g of green onion, 10g of a leek,
10g of perilla leaves, 100g of taro stalk soaked in water.

(2) Sauce

8g of salt, 2g of mashed garlic, 3g of perilla, 2g of red pepper, 2g of mashed
ginger, a little amount of pepper.

(3) Cooking instruction

After boiling the meat with gravy and stalk of taro for some time, boil again
after putting vegetables an d other ingredients into it. Before eating, sprinkle
pepper on it and put into an earthen bowl. The stalk of taro is to be kept in cold
water one or two days to get rid of its smell and taste.

I dont get it.......I value human life more than an animals life.........but there is no reason to toss a dog like that to its death.........no reason whats so ever........the guy is an asshole and should be shot........maybe not killed but shot in the leg so he cant walk the rest of his life.......he should lose something valuable to him(not material possession either) like a leg. I don't consider him a good, decent soldier. I consider him a sociopath. Look, normal people don't enjoy torturing puppies. You can be proud of yourself and feel yourself to be superior all you want because you equate being heartless to being "cool" and rational." I really don't view the fact that I have a heart and a conscience as a detriment.

yo i honestly dont give a shit about that puppy, and i seriorusly just can't believe people want to ruin this guys life for this when i guarantee everyone in this thread has done as bad or worse. You just can't rationally hold animals in such high regard in some cases like this and yet be happy living in a society where animals are needlessly destroyed...some are killed to make accessories, frogs are killed just so they can be dissected by 5th graders, deer are killed as trophies on hunting shows, people kill little spider in the corner of their house that can't do anything.

I just wish somebody would come out and say they only care because it's a cute puppy. If this video was the same marine shooting a pidgeon, there would not be 1/1000000 of the reaction

It was the means of disposal that makes this guy bad. I'm a dog person x 1,000,000,000 and it would kill me to have to put a pup like that down, but there's something wrong with a person that's laughing about throwing something off a cliff to its death. Same as if a kid pulls the legs off of a daddy longleg spider instead of just stepping on the thing.

I really don't think the examples you used hold much water in this case.

No. You cannot guarantee. I have never done anything even remotely close to this and I believe most people on this thread have not either. If most of the people you associate yourself with have done anything like it then you're a sick fucker. I wouldn't even throw a snake off the cliff like he did and I can't stand snakes.
