Heres my story- i lost my left leg, below the knee, 6 months back.I am still takeing vicodin every6 hours for comfort and pain. I was int the gym before, mostly to keep in shape for stuntting,i was 180, now im down to 135.

So will there be any side effects if i still take my pain meds, and start useing???

I do it, but I am not on it every day and every 6 hours like you are any longer. I only take it when I am in pain, but I was on Lortab, same as Vicodin just a stronger dose is produced by that brand, 10/500. I was on it for 18months strait. Becareful taking it so long though bro, coming off is a bitch and addiction is too easy. With all that said, it's not smart to mix them, kind of one of those "do as I say, not as I do" rules, yea I did it, but in retrospect, kind of stupid thing to do to by body.

yeah i know, i can take the pain, when i dont take the pills, i am not hooked yet, but i get into a grumpy mood, cause the nerves in my legs jump around alot, thats why i take them still. but i have been flushing my system out with lots of water

ok i had surgery last november mid cycle, it was not something i prepared for it just happened. i was on vics for over a year, they are as addicting as heroin, worst thing ive done in my life was beating that addiction. anyway i was on vics the whole time i did my first cycle of deca and winny, it did nothing bad you will be fine, its just you get used to going to the gym and aching and a vic is the best thing in the world, be careful, i would not want anyone to go through what i did. a week of sheer hell to get it out of my system. if youre getting grumpy that means you are becoming dependent on it. agitation and increased body temp are the first signs of addiction. how much are you taking. be careful, but like i said its fine to run your cycle with it, just know there is more stress on your liver.

Bro, watch your kidneys, hydrocodone and acetominiphen are very toxic on the kidneys, then adding gear still dont help. If your urine turns cloudy cut back before it turns brown, or worse.

damn bor. all i know is that vikes can be counterprodutive when it comes to fitness goals.

I have a similiar story, I've had the back of my skull cut open 8 times in 7 years (5 surgeries were at mayo clinic in Rochchester, Minn) Had tumors in my middle ear cavity that kept returning bilaterly, luckily they weren't cancerous. Lost all off my hearing in my left ear and half in my right. I've been taking pain killers for over 10 years. Vicoden, lortab, percodone, morphine pills. Mostly vicodin though, and mostly unperscribed for the last 3.5 years (last surgery was 4 years ago) Anyway everytime my friends or current girlfriend thinks I have a problem I stop for about a month just to prove them wrong, but always make some excuse up to start on them again.

Like others said I get grumpy and moody without them. When I had the surgeries I was taking 10 - 14 a day 750 mg. I noticed if I take them recreational I average 4 - 5 a day which I think is considerly better ( still stupid but better) I've taken them on a cycle of deca, test, whin and eq and didnt notice any difference. though I've never had my liver checked and to be honest I'm afraid to. I stopped taking them for about 2 weeks now and am hoping to stay off, but as most of you know my demons are some times stronger than I am.

Good luck with everything, a good friend of mine lost a leg right below the knee 7-8 years ago and you would never know it. Built and strong fucker to boot, he doesnt let it slow him down a bit. Actually got a job making prosthesis at a company. Peace

Acetaminophen (in the Vicodan) is toxic to both the kidneys and the liver, but especially the liver - would not be a good idea to mix it with oral steroids. For more info look here:

i might just have to take the pain for a while, i need to get back into my size before i start stunting again, just rideing period.
thanks for all the advice,

The more I read about motorcycle injuries on here the better selling my Hayabusa sounds. I could buy an assload of GH with that cash. Hmmmmmm...

Yeah got rid of my Hayabusa cpl years back after a close call with a punk in a mustang that loss control trying to show his girl he could be faster than a bike. After having a kid you have to make choices like that. Good luck again man. Peace

Icon. I don't drink but do take a 10/325, (sometimes 1/2) for rec purposes. I have used them during cycles but never more than a few a week at most. My blood work has always been perfect. I'm really carefull though. Take Liverite when I take Vic's and only take the Vic's that have 325 Acetaminophen. I'd try to kick the pain killers, bust your ass in the gym and then run some cycles. Set some goals and stick to it. I have many friends that are hooked on pain killers, it's a bad thing in the long run. Good luck!

Very true, but you cannot tell it's affecting the liver until 1. it's too late, or 2. you have blood work. When it starts affecting the kidney's at least you get warning signs, and they would come long before the liver is damaged, bottom line is though, you are correct, watch the liver too.
