Vibrams Siting

My three year old's Christmas program was last night.

But between songs, this little fagtard starts doing solo songs. Nobody came there to hear him -- we came to see our kids on stage. Turns out he's the music teacher and assumed we wanted to spend our time hearing him hit the high notes on a weeknight.

So afterward at the reception, I'm thinking this guy couldn't be much geigher. And then there I spotted them: Yes sportsfans, he was sporting Vibrams!

I wonder if they are Allowed in a professional setting. Haha imagining if I wore vibrams with my pencil skirt suit.very sexy. Oh and your kids music teacher is an attention whore or at least he sounds like it super pathetic competing with children.lol

and while i believe vibrams would have some purpose (good beach shoe) it does seem every trendy starbucks sipping hipster is rocking them...here in hipster central (s.oregon) i see them all the time, usually accompained by obama bumper stickers, subaru vehicles, high end apple products, and other hipster novelties

Oh, is it a hipster thing? Guess that is why I haven't actually ever seen them anywhere in my town, yet...lol. I read that they are really good for beginning runners to learn to run with a foot strike on the ball of the foot. What do you people think who have them?

That's why I got them. I'm a big heel striker and wanted to move toward a mid foot strike. They tear up your calves... Feels gooooooood..

I actually run in a pair myself. You cannot be a heel-striker in vibrams. And they do work your calves a hell of a lot more than typical running shoes.

It's also very cool to be able to wiggle your toes when you run.

Are the Vibrams better then the Adidas? or pretty much the same??

The vibrams 5-finger was the first thin-soled, individually toed running shoe. Their success has led to copies. I looked at the Filas and didn't like them. I haven't seen the addidas yet.

I actually run in the "hiking" sole since it is a little thicker and has some tread for traction. The "running" shoes are just soft rubber on the bottom.

Thanks! I used to think they looked silly but my son bought some and they're kinda growing on me. You don't see them that much where I live either so I wouldn't be part of the hipster, starbucks crowd. lol
