Very Recent Bloodwork and High Chloesterol

I had blood work done and it seems I have high chloesterol. It runs in my family. Both my mom and dad hae high cholesterol, :( doc said its definitely genetic becuause I don't have much good cholesterol and all my other triglycerides look good. She also said you look like your in great shape so I doubt diet will take care of it. I told her that I eat really clean.

I have also not been on any AAS since April.

I was thinking hard of starting a Test E/Tren A/Anavar cycle at the end of august to maybe the middle of sept.

However, I have been prescribed 20mg of zocor a day, and realize that this might change everything.

With this new information, I'm assuming that I probably should not do any orals like anavar, but should I be reconsidering tren? Or even reconsidering AAS themselves?

This really sucks.

Any opinions or suggestions? would be appreciated.

tell her to fuck off. (sorry but i cannot stand to hear when docs put people on drugs and don't even recommend supplements to help with the problem, ask her how many free laptops, vacations those drug companies give her to peddle those drugs to patients)

throw those drugs in the trash.

get on some support supps.. both n2guard and hcgenerate will help with cholesterol issues. she wants to put you on pills for the rest of your life.. that is bullshit but the state of todays medical community.

all AAS will effect cholesterol levels, some more than others.. keep your cycles moderate and short. and always run support supps and cycle off as you sound like you have been doing and you will be able to juice for years to come with no problems

Thanks Steve. Ive listened to your advice as well as Dylan's when I first came here and have had amazing results. I always run support supps.

My
Cholesterol reading was 220/40. She told me that my bad should be no higher than 180 and my good should be at
Least 50.

hcgenerate should only be run 12 weeks straight. you wouldn't want to run it longer anyway cause the stuff can get expensive. so save it for during cycle

n2guard i see no reason why you cannot run it nonstop to help your lipids. the stuff is a lifesaver, if i run out during my tren cycles i literally feel death coming on. lol

if you exhaust all remedies and you still have cholesterol issues then i guess you will have to go on those meds as much as i hate to say it, but sounds to me like you don't need them. i have a buddy at work who is my age and on bp meds, his diet is shit, he never exercises. his doc put him on bp meds for the rest of his life instead of telling him to get his shit together.. i urged him to not take those meds and to change his diet and tried to get him to exercise with me atleast a couple times a week. he did it for a week or two then revereted to his old ways.. funny thing a couple months later the bp meds his doc put him on were found to be dangerous and pulled by the FDA.. his doctor put him on potentially dangerous drugs! and when the news broke did not even contact him to change them.. thats how it works with doctors, you HAVE to be your own doctor .. i feel sorry for the elderly who just take whatever the doc gives them with zero regard to researching what the heck they are taking. i have so many more stories similar to this where docs have had no regard to the health of their patients. its troubling

Yep. Doing a cycle without N2 GUARD is just senseless.

honestly man...your dr sounds lazy

my cholesterol came back horrible a cpl of times (genetic predisposition) my Dr suggested a cpl of supps told me diet wasnt actually likely to cure it but more fiber would help my body move lipids out better and she doesn't like throwing people on the drugs because they cause more problems then they help
she was more interested in inflamation markers ...and ultimately it proved to be my thyroid that was screwing up my cholesterol..unlike you I had bad triglycerides tho

I went for blood work every 6 mths and by the end of two yrs (yes two yrs) my cholesterol was finally where it needed to be for my age

moral of the story is...always look for alternatives especially if theyre talkin statins
