Very basic diet question....

I keep seeing different numbers all over the place regarding optimal protein and caloric intake while bulking.

What do you guys reccommend?

Me: 33 5'9"/150 15%bf trim frame (30w 40ch) with a tendency to gain fat easier than muscle (not the ectomorph than I used to be.)

How much protein & calories per day?

How long to stay on a buling cycle?

well it's different for everyone. You need to find out where you're maintainence cals are at so you can properly adjust for your bulking and cutting. So in your case, if your bulking, you would want to eat anywhere from a hair above your maintainence cals to 1,000 or so above. I would take atleast 3,000 cals. As for protien, the general rule is 1.5xbodyweight, so roughly 225g for you.
 
bulking naturally, 16cal/lb of bodyweight seems to work good, keep protein at 1g/lb/bodyweight, bulking with gear, take in 20cals/lb of bodyweight keeping protein as high possible
