Vertigo took a turn for the worse.

I got the diagnosis in the emergency room nearly a year ago.. It has been mild up until yesterday. If it continues like this, I'll go to the dr. where he will more than likely do some type of maneuver and prescribe exercises. Surgery is an alternative if it becomes too debilitating.

I got my diagnosis in the ER also, but then went to the ENT to get the ringing in my ears checked and he said my vertigo was caused by an auto immune illness I have.
Now get this...the ER doc, my family doc and my Neurologist all told me they have never seen so many cases of vertigo as they have in this past yr....weird huh!?
A friend of mine's wife has been off work for 7 months with it.
Vertigo is a strange and scary thing.
Go to a Dr just to get checked. Let them rule some more serious illness out

Yeah, will do. My heart is also beating 95 bpm when it's normally about 72. I'm not nervous or anything so that usually indicates your body is fighting a virus or something.

Custom Capsule’s Balancing Act formulas

Custom Capsule’s Balancing Act formulas are specially formulated encapsulated products that are designed to help deal with the symptoms of inner ear disorders causing dizziness and Vertigo. As lay terms dizziness and Vertigo are often used interchangeably. Medically speaking dizziness is a non-specific term meaning unsteadiness, lightheadedness, or disorientation; Vertigo, on the other hand, means specifically that there is a sense of spinning or turning around in the absence of movement. Both can be caused by inner ear disturbances such as acute viral infection or the chronic syndrome known as Meniere’s. But be aware that these symptoms may also be attributable to other causes and individuals should consult a physician about these symptoms if there is any doubt or concern.

Individuals who have experienced inner ear problems understand the debilitating effects of these conditions. It is not uncommon for an individual who suffers from a chronic balance disorder to be completely immobilized by an attack. Also many sufferers experience secondary symptoms such as visual disturbances and nausea.

Balancing Act Herbal consists of a blend of herbs designed to specifically provide relief from the symptoms of Vertigo and nausea. Ginger root comprises the bulk of the formula since the herb has a long history of scientific research supporting its beneficial effect in reducing motion sickness and Vertigo. While scientific support is less established for Ginkgo Biloba, a double blind study did find that it had a significant effect upon reducing Vertigo over a period of several months. Catnip and valerian are two herbs often used to for insomnia but have a long history of anecdotal use for balance disorders. Peppermint teas have long been used anecdotally to treat a variety of ailments, including headache and nausea; the latter use warrants its inclusion here as support for secondary symptoms. Similarly a small amount of licorice root has been added for its gastrointestinal protective effects. Unlike other companies that hide behind a proprietary formula to avoid disclosing the amount of each ingredient in their products, Custom Capsule includes the amount of each herb of this formula on the label so that the customer can be better informed as to what they are taking.
