I got my diagnosis in the ER also, but then went to the ENT to get the ringing in my ears checked and he said my vertigo was caused by an auto immune illness I have.
Now get this...the ER doc, my family doc and my Neurologist all told me they have never seen so many cases of vertigo as they have in this past yr....weird huh!?
A friend of mine's wife has been off work for 7 months with it.
Vertigo is a strange and scary thing.
Go to a Dr just to get checked. Let them rule some more serious illness out
