Vaginal discharge. Is it normal?

To have brown fluid come out that is the color of sand and small plugs of mushy stuff that looks like mud?? A friend called me to ask. This happened to him during sex and he said the fluid had an odor to it.

I don't know. He said the fluid wasn't sticky, just wet and runny and had the color of sand. He saw some mushy stuff on his wanger that looked like little plugs of mud. He said it smelled bad. He has been traumatized. The woman seemed like a nice woman.

That's not true. Sometimes I bleed for like a day if that. Other times it runs for a day then stops for two, then comes back for a bit. Sometimes the blood is thick and clumpy, bright red, other times it is pink goo that turns brownish and "mushroomy" like you described.

Some women's periods are just that way.

If the odor is FOUL then regardless of where she is in her cycle she may have an infection of some sort. Did you ask her personally? Or are you just guessing. For goodness sakes Biteme - if you are comfortable enough with the woman to have sex with her, then shouldn't you feel comfortable enough to discuss normal bodily functions with her?

More likely to have brown discharge is she was on the end of her period. If she's not on her period then is a "RED FLAG".

When blood is dried out it turn to brown.

anyways biteme I dont think you have nothing to be worried about. Then again If she said she's not on her period. One thing that I know that cause brown discharge is it could be a symptom of a myriad of vaginal infections (most likely not serious). If your really worried about it Go see a Dr.

The thing that you have to worry about is when the discharge has a yellow or green color, is clumpy like cottage cheese, or has a bad odor.

If I am regularly intimate with a man I tell him that I am either due for my period, just about done, so he doesnt have a heartattack if a bit of normal discharge ends up on his cock. From what you describe, it could be an infection of some sort, or maybe she has undergone a procedure? Even a pelvic exam or pap test can bring on that kind of result; but the odour you describe is not typical I don't think. That's usually a sign of some sort of infection, or again she could be having post symptoms from some kind of procedure on her cervix.

You could ask her in a very kind way..maybe bring it up like you are concerned about what you saw and ask if she is ok? There's a good chance she wouldn't be offended if you handled it that way. :)

Different Types of Discharge
