how soon before my workout should i take it?

I take a caffiene and effedrine just as I'm leaving the house for the gym

how far do you live from your gym? i'm 5min or less from mine...

About 5 minutes, I can feel my heart speeding up by the time I walk in the door. Sometimes, if I'm feeling particularily bagged, I'll take it 1/2 hour before I leave to get my ass moving

Yeah, most of the ECA products work fairly quickly. Takes about 15 minutes or so for me.
