How did everyone come up with their username? After much thought & meditation, or a night of drunken debauchery?
I came up with mine for 2 reasons. One because I believe God's glory is hidden in everything, & 2 because hidden inside this sack of flaccid skin & adipose tissue is the body of a Greek God.

Ender is my old nickname from when I used to play online games. I got that...you guessed it...from Ender's Game. JE is the initials of my kids.

It could have been worse. It could have been MerrickJE.

I LOVE all of those books Ender. Every damn one. The first time I read Ender's Game I was on a plane and when I got to the last page, I flipped back to page 1 and reread it.

Yup. 1981-1985. I was in Calgary, and in Lahr, West Germany. I was a Cougar driver (armoured car) for 1 year, & Leopard 1A4 crewman for 2, Supply for 1.

The explanation is boring but...

Foobar is a universal variable understood to represent whatever is being discussed.

It's usually used in examples that illustrate concepts and ideas in computer science.
