update on emergency, everybody read

The pain is getting a little more intense in my hip and Ive started getting a rash around the injection area and its running down my leg. What the hell is going on.

A rash?? Maybe an infection or an allergic reation. Was it test?
Some people get an allergic reation to test.

Ever hear of Anaphylactic shock? Ceptic shock? Both can kill you.....Don't fuck around. If you think it went wrong....it might have......just go see a Dr. he won't turn you in. If Dr's start turning in everybody, people would stop seeing them risking their health.......they know that. Be good to yourself.....see a Dr.

The closest ER is 60 miles away and Im here by myself. Ive never heard of anyboldy dying from a steroid injection. Be more specific about the shocks you were talking about. I think the rash has stopped spreading but the injection sight is throbbing and hurting like other shots ive had before. Do I really need to go to the ER? I was arrested for DUI the other night and as part of my bond, I cant be around booze or controlled substances or I get 6 months mandatory. Could it be some got in a blood vessel? Could it be a vessel arupted in my leg? Bam Bam

Anaphylactic shock is a result from a allergic reaction to a substance, the result is your heart does not have enough blood left to pump do to the other vessels in your body using it all. Best advice is to get help but if you refuse at least monitor your pulse and have someone with you that is aware of what is going on in case things get worse. Good luck man.

WHEN IN DOUBT GO SEE A DOCTOR. I'm not a professional health care provider, but if the infection is not moving up towards the heart then it's probably not even an infection. If it's just a rash, then that's probably all it is...a rash. But definitely go check with the Doc!!! You don't want to f**k around with your life bro!!!

MEANSTREAK has done his research.....& yes....he is correct. The ceptic shock is caused by dirty needle or contaminated injectable of whatever. When injecting....I clean everything with alcohol....I don't take any chances. FYI......I know this site has the best Advise on how to inject......I don't remember off hand what the url was.....but it's worth looking at for everybody. I was taught everything I know by a Dr.

I don't want to alarm you, But. I have some experience with wound care (physical therapy).. and I do recall someone wait and wait until something like this became too bad to postpone anymore. Diagnosis- he had a severe infection. Treatment- cut the outside open and use hydraspray and swabs to clean out the inside. Apply a medication (which actually clears the necrotic "dead" tissue) and pack with and special packing material. Oh and clean and change every day til it was better. It started about 1/2inch diameter 1 inch deep (yes) and got bigger before it healed, with scare tissue. I would go to hospital, But that is just me.

That's why i like working with computers instead... easier on the stomach.
