unsealed question part 2!

Yesterday I was asking about a bottle that was not sealed properly. Meaning that the seal on the rubber stopper was missing. The bottle is a normal 10 ml bottle that has a good top which does not appear to have been tampered with. to avoid confusion, here's a pic.... why is the rubber stopper exposed?

now that I get more info, yes guys have used it and are happy with it.... more pressing to me is whether that stopper missing a seal is a BIG problem??

It looks like it might be a homebrew, therefore it might not have had a stopper top. If anything at least bake it first if you are going to try it. Your health and safety are more important than using steroids though. Remember that.

Put a needle in the stopper sticking out, place on cooking sheet and throw it into the oven.

why doesn't that make sense to me? oh I know, cause I've never done it before. Put a needle in the stopper? Put it in the oven? How long? What temp? What does that do exactly? I'm a 20 question guy when I don't understand something....

ok,,, we're getting somewhere, just one thing. Why the needle sticking out? what does that do? and i only have 23g needles

Keeps air from building and the whole bottle from blowing up in your oven. Or the top flying off. Also lets impurities out.

LOL! all you guys ROCK! I appreciate the help, BIG TIME!! I have another question, baking this stuff does not fuck with the chemical make up at all??? It doesn't throw the mixture outta whack?? I mean I assume not or you wouldn't have said to do it but just wondering how the hell that is....

make sure u are not putting the needle into the oil... just above the oil when you heat it or you will have oil coming out of the top of it and waste your gear.
