Ultimate Fighter sucks so far.

You know what's sad? Pick3 most likely was watching tuf lastnight, yelling from the top of his lungs, while wearing a tapout shirt, thinking he saw the fight of the century.

I can't understand how anyone could gas out at that level...it's the most controllable variable. When I first started wrestling in jr. high I lost my first wrestle off because I gassed...from that point on...I did my own cardio after practice...I used to have some mad rope jumping skills. I got my ass kicked by some guys that were just better than me but I was never pinned in high school...because you couldn't gas me and make me quit.

Me and a few buddies ran cross country before wrestling season and got in phenomenal running shape.

Running shape does directly correlate with wrestling shape.

Just sayin'

Meh...Wrestling challenges your VO2 max much more than running. I used to run two miles every morning in high school and I considered it general fitness....nothing beats wrestling conditioning like wrestling because it's anaerobic and sports specific.

The wrestling trophy I value the most is the one I was awarded for sixth place because I did it as a freshman and it was a two day thirty team tournament...it was a gut check for me.

I did cross country, track and field, wrestling, muay tai and mma - you cannot compare the cardio of grappling sports to running or striking...it's completely different

if you have excellent cardio in running, you may still get gassed playing muay tai

running is one thing, fighting is something completely different
