Ultimate Fighter 3

Maverick said:
if you were a fighter you would know that your headgear smells like urine anyway, so It would be almost impossible to tell if a guy pissed in it. my headgear smells like old hockey equipment

but since you have never strapped on a headgear in your life, why would you know that ?

asshat

Wow Maverick, I should know better than to go toe-to-toe with a master of verbage such as yourself, but lemme ask you this...do you think they brought that gear from home?? That shit was brand new, and they were talking about how there was extra gear they were looking forward to taking home to their friends...but once it got damaged, they couldn't anymore. Also, unless it was just creative editing, Rory put on that headgear right after Ed pissed on it. I don't give a shit how much sweat has soaked into that gear--you put it on a half hour after someone pisses in it, and it'll be at least a little more rank than normal.

Besides, it was a joke dude. Settle the fuk down.

let me guess, your 300 lbs and never threw a punch in your life, all your fighting knowledge is from eating cheetos and watching TUF 3.

am I close ?

For fuck's sake, Maverick, why are you such an ass? I'll state again, I'm not sure why you even post...

I'm assuming if you're browsing the MA forum, you have some MA experience. Share it, then. Post constructive answers, ask intelligent questions.

I know it's hard, but try not to act like a 12 y/o that just got access to his dad's computer for the first time.

Ok, not that this is really worth a response, but here ya go buddy...

I was a REALLY skinny kid and got picked on a lot by a big Mexican dude in Jr. High, so in the summer between 8th and 9th grade I started training at a dojo in So. Cal that offered Shorin-Ryu Karate, Kung-Fu (not sure what style), a derivative of Kodokan Judo, and Aikijiujutsu. Since they were primarily a karate school, and an Okinawan one at that, we also trained in kobudo weapons. They wouldn't let me into the jiujutsu class till I was 15, and by that time I think I was like a purple belt in both Judo and Karate... At 16 I got my brown and started teaching the kids classes, and eventually got bored with that and started trainign with some of the tougher dudes at a kickboxing gym. Pretty soon, I was scraping my shins with nunchaku 5 times a day to deaden them, I was doing leg-kicking drills for an hour a day, and I still tried to keep up my judo and traditional training, too (which no one in mma seems to care about, btw...sad).

I have NEVER fought MMA. I HAVE fought freestyle kickboxing rules and traditional point sparring (and gotten disqualified many times for ankle-checking...heh). I am NO LONGER in that kinda shape cardio-wise, but I'm also no longer the skinny kid I was. I've been choked out, body-slammed, kicked in the face, been hogtied in like 3 seconds with my obi (do you know what that is??), fractured my own rib once by blocking a side kick from a black dude who I think kicked his way outta the womb......and I'm sure plenty more. But yeah, I've never thrown a punch.............. :p

And my name, goal200 represents my weightlifting goal. I wanna get to 200lbs at <10% bf. Right now I'm prob 185 @ 13%. I'm eating a bowl of oatmeal right now, in fact. :chomp:

I missed the first UFC but saw the 2nd one when it happened. So I've been viewing this stuff for WAY longer than most American viewers. Want any more info or will that suffice?

Was it just me or does Rashad look like hes getting some gyno?

Rashad did juice. He lived around me and know people that wrestled him in college. Although I didnt like him at first because of his cocky attitude BUT the last fight against that huge guy proved to me he was a very good fighter. I havent seen the bonnar fight but his respect from me grows with each fight exspecially sense he dropped the cocky bullshit.

You know, there is only so many times people can use the excuse that they had a bad fight against Rashad. Maybe Rashad is the reason for them fighting so poorly. The guy just seems to win. Whatever way he has to. I really like Rashad. I find it interesting to watch how he is going to eak out his next win.

BTW, who was the retarded fucking judge that had the fight a draw. Rashad slammed him about 10 times. I didn't see Bonnar winning a single round.

that is what I want to know, seriously some of the judges are worse then olympic figure skating judges. A draw ? seriously WTF !!!!!!

figures that mike martial would love this fool bonnar, one dork idolizes another dork.......

Bonnar is such a geek, that american psycho bullshit persona that he tries to portray is such garbage. (bring that shit to the WWE) look at his face and the way he talks....anyway I think he was a shit fighter from the moment I saw him, that fight with forrest was just a brawl....... put a couple hockey fighters in there and they can brawl too.

I am so glad rashad destroyed him, and as for bonnar's weak ass sub attempts, you cant pull that shit in MMA that easily when your oppenent does not have a sissy ass gi on and your covered in sweat.

you gotta be an athlete to be dominant in MMA, which is why rashad made bonnar look like the tall, lanky and slow fighter he is.
