Ultimate Fighter 3

Theres a diffrence between destroyed and dominated. I didnt see Bonnar hurt at any time during the fight. Rashad just grinds out results, its obvious hes a excellent wrestler but thats his only skill. It was a frustrating fight to watch as the ref was quick to stand them up in the first round and then let them stay down alot longer in the other rounds. Rashad knew exactly what he was doing by just keeping Bonnar on the ground and just doing enough to keep it there. Clever fighting? Yes, entertaining? No.

Give rashad credit. In the final PPV of the show he stood up and almost KOed a guy guy with prob almost a foot reach on him. Sloppy.. yes but he still did. 2 times. And of course a wrestler will want to wrestle. And its up to bonner to practice sprawling to defend. Wizards, cross face, sprawl. etc.. those 3 alone will get you out of 99% of takedowns.

Yeah i totally agree. Its a fighters fault if they cannot defend a takedown. I meen Rashad took Bonnar down at will.

As for the final, in all fairness the guy had only been fighting i think 9-12 months prior to going on Ultimate Fighter. (think thats the fight you were on about?)

Good luck to Rashad but i dont really enojoy watching his fights to much. Thats just my prefrence though.

haha. I dont either. True about the guy in the final but the guy was still loosing to a guy that much shorter standing up. His punches wernt bad but Rashad was to exsplosive and quick.

Now chuck lidell has got some of the best takedown defense in the UFC if not MMA.... and he is sitting pretty. He knows he cant wrestle worth a fuck so he doesnt.

but if chuck didnt not have that freakish knockout power you think he would be as good ? I think not...... he would be nothing more then a average brawler.

only thing that makes chuck is his power

Whats wrong with that? I rather be a bad ass with less skill, then a skillful piece of shit. ;)

Although it does astonish me with some of those punches that knock the sense outta guys. A little glance and they go out like a bulb. Tough guys too! Its almost like watching guys fight Tyson in his prime, BAM done. Although I dont think anyone has or maybe never will have the power that tyson had in a single punch. His leverage and exspoliveness are comparable to none.

I dont get that comment at all. Its like saying if tito didnt have good ground and pound he would be average fighter or if Cotoure didnt have wrestling skills he would be average. Chucks game is to strike because hes a striker he has very good take down defence which he has worked on because hes dosent like the ground.

im saying that chuck's power is freakish, like I have not seen this in any other MMA fighter, take that away from him and he is not much of a fighter.

tito is more well rounded and even if he was not good at ground and pound, he would still be a decent figter all around.

Can't agree with this bro....He's a VERY polished fighter/striker. His punches obviously have a lot of force, but it's WHERE he puts them that really matters. He's the best counter-puncher in the game. He goes INSIDE his opponent's strikes with his own (which is classic Muay Thai by the way...don't block, just strike first when you see somethin comin at ya).

Just cuz he likes to keep the game standing up doesn't mean he's not much of a mma fighter. That's what mma is all about--throw two dudes with different skills/backgrounds in a cage and see what happens. So far, he's got a pretty good record....

Shamrock was a shitty coach and that to me is one of the main reasons most of his team lost ed herman made it that far because of previous training with couture i had my money on bisbing and kendall or ed herman but honestly i don't like shit talkers so i was hoping kendall would win.
