If I use free weights (mainly dumbbells for upper body), eventually I develop pain in my shoulders.
Sometimes pain becomes a little too much.
But I also make best gains using free weights.
Ibuprofen is prostaglandin-inhibitor and anti-inflammatory, and there could be a possible mechsnism to decrease the gains.
But Tyelenol's pain-reducing effect is solely on brain. As far as I know, it doesn't have any direct effect on muscle (it does have effect on liver).
I am planning to take couple of tyelenols before my next work out. Any reason I shouldn't do so?
