two weeks into ckd..I cant see a difference!?

rez

New member
am I meant to because I can only feel a difference - when i look in the mirror I look the same.
I was unable to do my 2nd carbup on sunday and dont think I can until this friday or the following monday - thus my 'attempt' at training today was shameful. Its ok to go 2 weeks without a carb-up?

i have also been substituting 1 or 2 meals with walnuts or almonds (when ive been in a position where there was nothing else around) but I guess thats not to bad? pro=7g fat=15g carb=1g.

meals look something like this:

m1 egg
training
m2 tuna, olive oil, broccolli
m3 tuna mayo
m4 whey + flax + psyllium husks
m5 chicken+ olive oil + salad
m6 egg or walnuts(or sometimes nothing depending on how late it is)

training;
mon and tues weight training
wed- sat cardio and pilates

any advice would be appreciated
:D
thanks

your diet looks fine to me =/. 2 weeks still may be a bit short to expect drastic results. I'm about 2.5 wks in and I'm seeing soem waist size reduction but also some muscle flatness. On your carb up day look in the mirror after a workout... thats when i can really see progress.

90% of this board is on a ckd..plz help me out - am I on track or doing something wrong?

rez,

You need to give it a REST and RELAX. :). It takes more than 2 weeks to see significant changes. CKD is NOT a miracle diet, it's one of the best nevertheless. Just give it time, 8-12 weeks.
