two questions

1.not too sure how to ask this question so let me give an example first...

if i do a chest/bis split, when i do curls i can lift alot more weight and it feels like im stronger.

but on a back/bis split my biceps are pretty worn out so obviously im not going to curl as much weight.

so i guess what im trying to ask is ...with a back/bis split am i going to be making the same strength increases as a chest/bis split?

and this isnt a "i wish my biceps were huge and i want to curl 2000 pounds" its just out of curiosity whether or not they produce different results.

and question 2...ive found a way of doing supersets that i really like but again im unsure of what the results would yield.lately ive been doing a low rep/high rep superset.like 6-8 reps of shoulder pressing immediatley followed by 12-15 lateral raises.then rest 2 minutes.is this more for tone or could this produce size?

You are correct with the chest and biceps split. Better way to go.

No such thing as toning. It can help to build muscle. I would use that type of training sparingly and just play it straight normally but its not a bad thing to superset a compound exercise with an isolation.

is this more for tone or could this produce size?

big myth in training bro, muscles get bigger or smaller, stronger or weaker. Definition, tone, shaping and cutting dont exist. If you want your muscles to be more defined then you gotta loose bodyfat. Shape is genetic and cant be changed whatever you do.
