Truth about var

Hey everyone! So I have been thinking about running var for a couple years now but kept deciding to wait... There is so many conflicting opinions out there. So far we know that it is for sure not the best bulker. Not for someone going for 20 pounds a cycle... And we know it can help with cutting by preventing catabolism during a calorie deficit... Knowing this, could we assume that if ones goal was to STAY cut, but slowly put on quality mass, that eating very slightly over maintenance, you could put on muscle faster than you could without the var, while staying lean? Assuming one was running a medium dose around 40mg a day? Also what would the response be to an increase in calories more similar to a bulking diet? Would you notice a detectable amount of gain compared to while not running var with the same diet? I just have a hard time understanding why people seem so convinced that var is not capable of being used for mass when it increases strength so drastically, and even If only due to the increase in strength, one should still experience noticeable changes in hypertrophy right? I would appreciate any opinions, input, or previous experiences with oxandrolone. Thanks in advance!
 
I used anavar several years back at 40mg for 8 weeks with maintenance dose of prop. Yes var can be used in bulking. I gained about 10-15 pounds on cycle. I was using it more as a strength aid, but I wasn't very pleased to say the least. It sounds like you're trying to bulk. Anavar probably isn't you're best option considering it isn't cheap. I'f you're trying to stay lean I'd rather run test/eq or test/tren with a clean diet. How many cycles have you run?
 
bro anavar is a good but mild compound in my opinion you wont get huge from it but there is some upside strength hardness maybe 5 pounds added max, i think your complicating things a bit lol, ive ran var for 6 weeks at 80 mgs a day with solid diet and tight training regimen, and it was good, its fairly safe, so whats the question???
 
Thanks for the replies guys! Well thats what I was really getting at though.. I don't really want to bulk up huge, I fight so staying smaller is in my best interest, I am only looking to add maybe 7-10 pounds max at least at thispoint in my life. I was just asking if used properly why it couldn't be done? Especially for people like me just wanting to gain a little faster than usual while not getting huge. When the time comes in my life to finally start lifting for overall mass (there will come a time) I plan on running test/ deca. But for now getting huge isn't my goal. Just getting stronger and trying to add 10 pounds in 2-3months. Would that make var a better option after all?
 
Oh and on the other note, the var was free... That's why it im looking at it so in depth. So cost being no issue, is it worth it?will it make a difference in the amount of growth compared to without it? And yes im sure it is quality product. I won't post the lab but their stuff is solid. So that being the case.....
