Did anyone catch the first season? I didn't think I'd like it, figured it was some goth or emo crap, but it was really an entertaining series. If nothing else, I got to see Anna Paquin's funbags. Really a great series, set in rural Louisiana, very similar setting to my neighborhood on the NW side of Pensacola.

Season 1 ended last night, too short an episode, tied off the loose ends a little awkwardly. I remember earlier in the season saying that the one character really had that cajun accent down to a tee.

I didn't miss one. I too was surprised to like it. I don't know that I have ever seen or read anything that had worked vampires into everyday society. Must admit the sex and nudity is almost Skinemax like.....and for a series........I like it.

Last night should have been a 2 hour wrap up. Jason freaked me out in the Church of the Sun at the end......nothing good can come from that. The kids watching the vampire pounding that chick that died at the beginning of the series was a tad unnerving. The Vet is histerical. "People don't listen to me......but they should." Classic. That new girl that Bill turned is going to be fun next season.

Yeah, I was a little unnerved about that scene too. I wonder if they told the kids to act like they are seeing something fascinating but disgusting at the same time? Why was the border collie removing the money from his safe?

Sad to see they possibly killed off Lafayette. Don't think it was Bill that did it. I suspect Bill's new one, or the Sheriff of the SE region. BTW, I really liked Alexander Skaarsard in that Iraq war miniseries.

That new woman know who Sam is and I think he has been in hiding for a while......he may zbe running for the hills at this time. I was kind of hoping Sam would turning into a Werewolf or something more threatening. i am waiting to see what she actually does and what she has in store for Tara while she is staying at her house.

Remember, Sam doesn't like werewolves. He plays the dog part really well. i thought he was dead when Rene hit him with the statue.

I resisted watching at first. The wife watched it loved it. I still resisted as she is into all that vampire shit. Then I started noticing a fare amount of sexual activities so I gave it a shot.

I think I went back and watched all of them now. Pretty good entertainment I would say.

I like it too. I really like how it's not just a gothy vamp show and it's bringing all different kinds of creatures into it. Like a troll and wizard kinda thing only no dorko.
