Triceps

I cannot express how much Close Grip presses helped my tri's. When I started doing them, all of my tricep exercises improved. I like Pressdowns and French Presses also.

Good thing to do. It's like any other excercise. Once you can do more than ten comfortably, it's time to start adding weight.
 
i like splitting it up in 2 days

cgb - heavy
dips - heavy
pressdowns - moderate weight

skulls - moderate weight
overhead ext - same as above
pressdown - higher reps
 
I will have to say Skulls and Cables are my favorite and work wonders for me. Also Push downs and dips, as mentioned are very good to.
 
skulls = good
heavy pushdowns = good
close grip bench = good
overhead extensions = o.k.
weighed bench dips = good
kickbacks = just plain gay!

I've had good success with heavy skulls, pushdowns, and bench dips in a 5x5 program for a few weeks, then doing 3-4 super heavy sets, follwed immediately by 2 excersises of 2 sets of 10. To break things up I often throw in cgb, or o. extensions.

tricep presses helped me a ton til i was able to do the stack 20 times. that was my early days of lifting. then i discovered the miracle of free weights and close grip bench and dips helped a ton.
 
Those tricept press machines where you just push down are just feel good machines, I find they don't even do anything. I've been able to do 4 45's on it since I was in grade 11, and they never leave me feeling that I've isolated anything or accomplished any burn. One excercise I do like: toward the end of your tricept workout throw a lighter weight on the smith machine and do a close grip underhand press from your sternum, go high reps or untill failure. I love those.
 
skullcrushers (lying french press) and kickbacks will do wonders. just make sure to really concentrate on form and to really isolate your tris.
