id like some feedback on some approximate wts that you guys use on lying db extensions and lying barbell extension wts with olympic bar.

i can do around 315 for one (yeah i know it sucks). my best db extension for 3 sets is about 40x8-10 and 150x5 on strict barbell extension to the chin, about 1 inch away from chin.

id like to know what kind of wts you guys use and what your max shirtless bench press is...

and a hypothetical...what kind of wts would a 400 lb bencher be able to use approximately?
 
btw can anyone on this board do strict bb extension with 225?

i dont mean ...jm press or paul dicks press etc...THANKS
 
Thats hard to say what a certain lifter should lift if he pressesX. I mean every body's weaknesses are in different area's.

Cubanito has a strong forceful lockout i thinnk he does elbow outs with 55's.

I know guys who bench 400 who struggle with that weight. But they may do more off the bottom. It is ahard to say Cal. I would say the more poeple that answer this you will get an idea of the vast lifts we all have.

I can Jm press over 400 for reps.
elbow out extensions with 125 for 8 to 10
one arm dumbell ext with 100 for 6 to 8 each arm
I dont go that heavy on BB extensions (standing ) but i could do a slow easy rep with 225, no problem. Probably hit 5 or so. Lyining BB extension i could do strict reps with 275 or so. 225 no doubt. Now i have to see!

I actaully have a new favorite. I take dumbells in each hand and do over head extensions with both atthe same time, each arm.
ihave been doing 80's for 6 to 8 . Then grab lighter ones and burn out. Feels good!
 
I am not in the same league with Jay, yet, (I have to throw that in there) but I use 70's for dumbell tricep extensions, doing 5 sets of 10 with 15 seconds between sets.

I can do JM presses with 315 for 3. I can do an olympic bar chin crusher with 225 for reps. I don't know how strict it is, or how strict you are talking about, but my elbows move a bit while doing it.

I can't do the elbows out tricep extensions with any more than Cubanito, and I bench around 475.
 
Hey well I guess i'm famous for my DB elbow out ext and yes I do 55's for a set of 8. I normally go 1 set 45X8 1 set 50X8 1 set 55X8. I can cali press(which is bringing the curl bar down like a skull crusher but then I roll it to my chin and press straight up) with 115 for 10. Tate presses with 2 or a set of 65 for 8-10. But last time I raw maxed was 4 weeks ago 270 and my best pause last week is 255.
 
O.K. ...Now i am a bit different...I can do lying straight barbell extensions to the back of my head with 135 for 3 sets of 10 with about a minute rest between sets...Or I can do 55-60 pound dumbell extensions for 5x8 but with a minute rest between sets...If i only waited 15-30 seconds between sets i can only use 35-40 pound dumbells...And I did 470 in a double polyester...However I have done 5 full dips with 4 45 pound plates and my 240 bodyweight...everything is relative...When i just hear about some guy doing 225 pound barbell extensions my tricep tendons begin to ache...Also I can easily do 405-425 for a raw single as well as 335 for 3x5 with about 2-3 minutes rest between sets...Now I have a bodybuilder type of physique...I am 6'2" with long arms at about 18.5 and very big round delts and wide thick lats with only about a 31.5 waist...
 
Last night after we shirted up i did some 225 exten, and ended up do ing Jm presses to my chin with 365lbs for 3reps could have got 6 or more. But everyonne is strong in different areas of the tri's. That wass after a 625 bench as well.
 
i can bench around 350lbs

i super set tricep bar pressdown for 7 sets of 15 reps with 20 lbs with 35-45lb dumbell lying ext for 8 reps on a bench.

i do bar ext on dyn day for 5 sets of 8 super setting the same exercise with bar ext to 4head with 70lb bar......

that sounds akward...... but it has a lot to do with my poor flexibility in my shoulders.
