Treilin Food Log

Well they don't call Coors "Rocky Mountain Piss Water" for nuttin you know....

Miller Lite is affectionately known as "Beer-flavored water" at my house.


But hey, its low carb!

I think what's worse is the "low carb beer". You sacrifice what little "bouquet" lite beer has to strip out that extra carb and drink the "Atkins approved" brand.

For some reason I think Michelob Ultra has more of a "flavor" from Miller Lite & Coors Light.......Amstel Light is 5g carb/per 12 oz and has more flavor than any of the others IMO.....
 
Thanks for all the beer insights. I only had one vodka tonic this weekend and carried around a water bottle! Very impressed with my handling saying I was at two parties friday and saturday night till 4 or 5 a.m. where the Booz were flowing. My fault this weekend I think was friday night and saturday just eating to much. I ate a couple turkey wraps, PB like it was going out of style, a few pieces of chocolate, lots of peanuts and cashews, Pita bread with hummus, PB covered pretzels, buffalo chicken with bleu cheese, fajitas, chips and salsa, and...... Tons of coffee with splenda and low-fat milk.
It doesn't sound tooo bad... but I am definitely ready to hit the gym tomorrow. I have to average my log out yet. Ohhh well I'm gaining muscle... Need the calories :) At least it was somewhat healthy food.
Today I was back to my normal eating. Actually dropped the carbs a bit to even things out.
Well I hope everyone else had a good weekend....

My BF is 19.1, weight was 140.2 this a.m.
I don't know how to do the how much fat gain and muscle gain that Shadow posts.
Also, Shadow do you think I should keep the food intake the same?

O.k. So I am confused....
I weighed this a.m. at 138.2 That's a two pound difference from yesterday. My BF now registers at 18.1 again... What the heck is going on??? Does the digital calipers take into account water weight gain? Apparently I must have had some... I sent Shadow a couple pics of my stomach this morning since I can't upload them so the pics also back up my findings.I know I dropped my carbs the past two days... but come on...

also - I didnt recommend a lot of tweaking for that reason

Alright will do. So that means I didn't gain all that fat we thought.. Phew.... That's a relief. I got up and was like o.k. I feel different and weighed myself then looked in the mirror and was like ummm... grabbed the calipers just in case. I figured pictures are good so I took a few just to make sure. I compared today's and yesterday's pictures and can see a big difference. That's when I decided to send them off to you.

Yeah they are updated... but not the real updated I sent Shadow two pics this morning. I can't upload them here from home... Always had that issue. Maybe he'll upload them so everyone can see the difference "bloating" can cause.

Well I normally take them in the a.m. but I was traveling... So they were taken in the p.m. a day later. My as well wait till the morning to do it!

Babe you don't need to do more abs... It's the cardio that makes them start appearing. Working abs will make them bigger but make the fat layer on top puff out more. I never did abs till this past year when I started losing the BF off. No point in it... unless I wanted to see the measuring tape go up....

you havent lost ANY size..but are getting leaner and leaner


THAT is what you want....


1 - no drop in muscle measurements

2 - drop in waist and hips

3 - the scale weight on a progam like this and mine shouldnt change a lot....

Yeah I wasn't about to jump o the scale now and put that up as my weight. I can tell though even after the carb up this weekend that my stomach doesn't feel nor look as bloated as last week. My legs I can tell I have put more muscle on despite not the big flux in measurements. I can see more definition in them at the gym. Is my shoulder span just going to keep getting bigger and bigger? One of my brand-new shirts I only wore once before I could not wear this week because it was extremely tight in the shoulders and upper arms. What's a typical female span around the shoulders I guess?

you cant answer that..

taller = generally a better shoulder base in terms of width....that does measure delts chest and upper bak though...I would imagine that numer to slow

Yeah it's an odd measurement. I have a fairly wide back for a female I know. Pretty soon I'll have a 10 inch difference between my shoulders and hips... Does that equal a bit off balanced though? I mean typically in competitions or even modeling what is a typical ratio?... and don't say "36-24-36 and only if she is 5'3" Like that song....

NO....EVERY comp is about the shouler to hip taper...every single one......the only thing that would throw overall symmetry off is lack of thigh sweep

Look at Lenda Murray and Cory Everson...they has insane tapers...

Well put it this way... I had the pole legs when I graduated HS not one line of definition. The only reason I have definition in my calves was because I was embarassed of them and killed them at the gym 4 days a week for 6 months and out popped calves. Running has helped immensly in the upper thigh developement. After 6 months of really long runs I developed the line on the side of the upper leg. Leg extensions is the one exercise I noticed that had benefited my quads the most in the past. More recently it's been the leg press for those. The squats I am finding to be more beneficial in the butt region now then in the past. Everything comes in time with persistence.
