Sk*, I found that I have to do WAY too much volume for my abs to "feel it" too. Then I got to thinking, if any other muscle in my body were getting bigger/stronger, I'd up the weight when it got easy. Why would my abs be any different?
spatts said:I don't really do crunches. I do all my ab work with my legs straight. I think you will find that in a wide stance, leaning forward, with legs straight, 200 is a VERY heavy cable pull down. I don't use anything close to that.
pillsbury said:hey sk, you should also try standing cable crunches; only its more like a gm than a crunch, anyway it is killer. you will not be able to do the whole stack on these![]()

spatts said:Abs on the GHR ...I do this with a med ball or a plate, generally.
Standing Cable Crunches Legs remain straight, and I'm leaning away to allow for a full ROM.
spatts said:I'm familiar...it's alot easier. And like you said, I could do them all day long. Try the standing ones some time and tell me what you think.![]()
