training split while on?

i'm trying to figure out a good training split to use right now. my current one is:

monday- chest
tuesday- back
weds- legs. calves
thurs- shoulders, traps
fri- arms
sat- off
sun- off

is this giving me enough rest while i'm on or not? i'm sure someone will ask so my stats are 5'11'' 207 bf is prob around 14% give or take.

If this works for you while your not on any anabolics, there is no reason to believe that this will not be enough rest. Personally, I up the volume while on, instead of 12 sets I might do 16.
 
Super newbie question but is working out each part of your body once a week enough. I know they all get conditioned while each day but just curious.

That's kind of guess and check. Some people respon well to once a week, and some better to twice a week. I've found what works best for me comes to about 3 times every two weeks. You'll just have to try a few and see which is your favorite.
 
once the gear starts to kick in i'll be an animal in the gym, and ill start to do more and more sets. i was just concerned with the split

for me i just can't see how it is possible to train the same muscle more than once a week. if you train hard i can't see the need or ability to hit a muscle twice. when i think about my chest, back, and leg days i can't even think about doing those workouts twice
