Training arms while "on"

gazpacho

New member
Hi guys,
How often can you train bis and tris while on cycle? I heard that because they are small muscle groups that normally recover quickly, the added help in recovery from AAS means that bis and tris can be hit twice / wk without overtraining. Does this sound right?

Also, either way, what do you think is the best way to train arms while on cycle? I am trying to focus on increasing my arm size on this cycle, so any tips would be appreciated. thanks.

I still only hit arms once a week when on -- your bis get hit hard it your back workout, and tris get hit hard in chest workout and shoulder presses.

Twice will lead to overtraining IMO -- unless you are a very low volume trainer.

The only dips I have are to stick to these exercises (keep arm workouts to 6-9 sets per group):

Skull Crushers
Narrow Grip Bench
Weighted Dips
Pushdowns

Barbell Curls
Incline DB Curls
Preacher Curls
DB hammer Curls

I like training each body part 3 times a week. Arms are kind of a pose muscle group though.

Besides, I get plenty of arm work w/cleans, snatches, bench presses, OHP, pullovers, BB row --you get the idea.

So I usually don't do much for arms.

If you do mostly isolation exercises and stay away from stuff like cleans, OHP, & presses, you can probably get better results from 3x/week.

I still train arms only once a week while on, still get good results...6 different exercises for tris, bis and one or two for forearms

yeah just consider you already work them twice once with back and chest and the other biy them selves

are you still over training if you are tall and lanky. it is a lot harder for those who have longer muscles.IMO if you are on and you have a large wingspan then i you may need to to see results. there are alot of stocky dudes out there who dont need to, there arms grow sipping water.

having long limbs has NOTHING to do with how fast your muscle will recover from a workout, silly idea

wow...i'm sorry but you are over training bro, even on the sauce, 3 times a week is overkill

He is right! I use to train body parts twice a week... I cut my arms down to once every 2 weeks and they just keep growing

yeap it has nothing to do with it

these are big factors in recovery:
ectomoph
mesomorph
endomorph

IMO arms twice a week allways did me good.

I blast them once a week with high volume and they grow like hell....what's your routine look like.....I really think bi's and tris need that 8-12 rep focus to really grow......5x5 never worked for moi
