Torn shoulder or strained? Help guys!

Hey guys i was doing bench today and was repping 300 for 5 reps when i felt pain in my shoulder just where my shoulder and peck connect, right by the armpit. I felt some pops like bubles and called for my spot thank god. Well its been about 12 hours and it is blue where ther shoulder and peck connect. Is it torn or strained? I figured if it was torn i wouldnt be able to rotate it. Thanks in advance guys.
 
If its starting to bruise that's not a good sign. Go see a doc and have it checked out.
 
same happened to me,it was a grade 2 strain(whatever that means) it s been almost 3 weeks still having some pain,but the swelling has gone done and trhe bruising is gone but the dr said no chest for 8 weeks,sucks but its better to let it heal then mess it up again and worse.good lick G
 
my advice would be not to use any free weights and just use machines with light weight just so you dont lose to much size.and also take some ibuprofen its an anti inflamitory wich helps a lot..but do go see a doctor.
 
Go to Doc....Rest.... change routine...When I was playing football same thing happened ....Didn't want to lose size so ..i started to do 100s That 100 reps with real light weight...guess what i put some size on....Felt like a big pussy but gains stayed....Also use the gluc/condr supplements and 1 packet a day of knox's gelatin....

take 4 advil 4 times a day with a meal. it seems like alot but it will help alot. i do it whenever i strain something, but if you take this much for too long it will mess up your insides...but see a dr asap!!
 
Hey guys thanks alot I went and saw my trannier today. He is a doc. he said that is looks like a small tear casue there is a red line that looks like a stretch mark right near the peck and shoulder, but also could be a very bad strain. Said no chest workouts at all for 3 weeks, but i can still do my arms and traps just no lateral movements. He said that it would heal on its own just be carefull and I should use just machine weights when doing chest for the next year to be safe.
