Torn ACL in middle of cycle?

I was in the middle of a cycle about 5 weeks in when I had torn my ACL playing ball. The injury left me inmobile and made it very difficult to continue my cycle and the intensity of my work outs. I am now one month after surgery and going strong through therapy. It has been 2 months since my last injection. Just need some advice on weather not this is the time to restart my cycle. I have herd that test. has been known to strengthen ligagents and tendons and help through injuries.

did you do any pct? even w/a 5 week cycle depending on what you took that could be important (you don't need supressed test levels while trying to rehab)
 
damn bro that sucks, I tore mineafew years ago jumping out of a plane. Test will help with strength, but I suggest adding some deca to keep joints lubed. That's what I ran after my cycle and it was really good

I´ve read many places that Deca stores water in connective tissue, thus alleviating joint pain. I have no idea what "storing water in the joints" means. I have no idea how to really quantify that statement, or where it started. However, in one study of postmenapusal women, Deca impoved collagen synthesis (1), and in another study deca increased bone mineral content. (2)Both of these studies used VERY low doses, which were far too low to promote muscle growth. In my estimation, based on these 2 studies, an athlete attempting to use Deca only for these two effects (increasing bone mineral content and collagen synthesis) should be using 100mgs of deca every week.


When I tore my patella tendon my rehab consisted of;

physical therapy- everything with one leg, leg extensions, leg press, etc..
bought a road bike, great for burning fat, and building the knee back up.

From a pharmaceutical standpoint, HGH 5 i.u. day, 5 days on, 2 off
Once I got my knee about to about 80% I started deca 300 mg week with 375mg of test

I think HGH, Deca, and test is the way to go. I felt a diiference.
 
I don't think Test helps strengthen and repair tendons. In fact, it has been said to possibly weaken them.

Since you had it surgically repaired, just stick with the rehab and you'll be fine.

There is a OTC product called Reparagen that has been shown in clinical trials to not only stop the destructive process in cartilage, but also repair it. It is under testing to prove the same in ligaments and tendons, but anecdotally it is supposed to help just the same.

Might be worth checking out.

yea. I didnt mean use test and deca while your still recovering and in physical therapy. I meant when your done and feel your body is up for another cycle, you might wana run a short test deca cycle to kinda get back in the swing of things.
