I can guess this has been done before but, I want to gain as much mass as possible without gear, and I want to know what top 4 supp. you guys think give you the most mass????? I am new to this and spent the last 2hours reading all the good stuff on this site!! I am 5'7 162lbs, and I eat 230-300grams of protien per day! I would like to get up to185lbs...... I know it will take awhile but i have time and $$ thanks for the help!!!!!
 
not including protein?

high potency multivitamin, in 2-3/day split dosage, w/ extra C & E

EFA's (flaxseed, fish oil, or Udo's Choice)

ginger root or digestive enzymes to help with all that protein

and... err, milk


...creatine will put 'mass' on you, but will largely be water weight, not lean muscle mass. ...indirectly, it can help you lift a little more, which in the long run can translate into increased gains.
 
make sure ur getting a good deal of carbs and overall calories in general if ur trying to grow, thats a lot of protein, but ..remember that 3500 calories=1 pound..

as far as supplements, i'd say:

Multivitamin
creatine (its water weight yes, but it also gives strength gains that dont go away)
protein-mornings, after workouts, b4 bed
dextrose
liquid B-12

Thats pretty much the necesities IMO, but i think diet is the key to gaining anything

...and incidentally rollmuncher, I'm not judging you or anything, but if you do a lot of what your handle implies, you're going to find it a lot harder to reach your goals.
 
Some of my favorite supps are:

Protein - Optimum
Creatine - EAS
MultiVitamin - Centrum
ALA - Nature's Purest

I am also not taking steroids. I know for a fact protein and creatine work. I am still skeptical about sala/rala. If your trying to lose fat also I recommend NYC stack or ECA.
 
What does the liquid B-12 do? I am also trying to gain mass w/o going the steroid route - Right now I am taking protein, glutamine, creatine, a multi-vitamin (Animal Pak) and GH-15. Anything else I should be taking?

B-12 is just an energy boosting vitamin. I dont know if u can remember back to when creatine syrum (sp?) was popular, but it turned out that it was mostly b-12. i prefer the liquid over the pills...a couple of drops under the tongue b4 a workout and ur good to go.
 
i think the most important things for you to do are

1. VITAMINS, dont underestimate them, they may not directly make you big or strong, but your body needs them above all else, i take a multi twice a day, and extra vitamin C and zinc.

2. EAT BIG, to get big eat big, plain and simple, potatoes and meat and lots of it.

3. train smart and listen to your body.

creatine is good and all but im not super impressed with it, i find it works real well for me for about 3 weeks at a time. i think alot of people overdo the protein thing, i am 400 pounds and i dont think i even get 200 grams a day yet my lifts continue to go up. i think if you get 200 grams a day your getting plenty of protein.
